Raaw - Toronto

Ate here in the middle of the afternoon and had excellent japanese food. My son had a bento box that had a ton of different types of selections in it. He consumed it all so it must have been good since he is a connoisseur of japanese food. I had several different dishes as well and found the experience great. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived and we had excellent service.

We enjoy sushi when we visit our family in Vancouver. This restaurant rivals our BC experiences! Fresh. Full of flavour. Generous portions. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Can't wait to go back.Our son and daughter-in-law followed our advice and dined there after a TFC game also....totally in support of this gem of a restaurant!

Needed a place for a meal prior to a concert at Molsen amphitheatre. This place is reasonably priced with a good mix of sushi and noodle dishes. Healthy portions and a friendly staff.

I have been to a lot of sushi this one is pretty good, the sushi seems fresh with good sauces. However the service was the best.

The the bento box at 17 bucks was worth it - the salmon sashimi was melt in the mouth and came with 6 maki (three salmon and three cucumber); along with this was some miso soup; salad; huge prawn tempura (although the contrast to the little slither of prawn inside made me laugh); salmon AND chicken teriyaki; as well as two dumplings. Spider crab was crunchy and tasty. The only let downs are the out of town location (so necessitating for most a trip) and the interior design which consists of walls painted black and a counter area with slanted lintel - if the interior has made more of a presence or given me a sense of something (anything) then five stars for sure.
