Nortown Foods - Toronto

I have noticed a decrease in quality lately at this restaurant. The steaks have been tough on two separate occasions.

This butcher shop and specialty food store is fantastic. Make sure to try the BBQ chicken as it is a popular item that tends to sell out quickly. It's best to call ahead to ensure they still have some available.

This is a great place to shop for more than just meats. There are prepared foods,condiments,preseasoned chicken parts, dinners, as well as steaks. Good food ready to take home and cook. It is Kosher style,delicatessen type. We visit frequently.

I have been shopping to this location for years now. The service is always super friendly and very helpful. I especially enjoy catching up with Paula Brown and Kathy on Fridays. They truly give "service with a smile"and give me ideas to help me put together meals easily. So I get a good story/laugh from these friendly ladies and a great meal to go! Also, I don't want to leave out Jackie. She wins the award for the best cashier ever!
