Gordo Ex Cafe - Toronto

I arrived at 3pm on a Tuesday to order 5 arepas for myself and my colleagues, however, the restaurant was closed. The man inside did not even bother to come to the door to give an explanation. I am disappointed that I drove 30 minutes in the rain to try these arepas.

The food at this restaurant was satisfactory, but my experience would have been better if I had been informed in advance about the mandatory gratuity, especially since we were just a party of two.

Great spot for arepa's! one of the best I have tried! Can't wait to go back!

The food at this restaurant is very tasty and the portions are generous. You definitely get your money's worth. The outdoor patio in the back is adorable and welcoming.

Food was delicious. We had empanadas, cachapas and beef criollo. It tasted like I was in Venezuela, I will definitely be coming back.Kid-friendliness: My son is very picky but he loved the chicken empanadas and asked me to come back here again. The empanadas are very good and well stuffed.Parking: You can park right in front
