フィードバックを提供するIt's a very small place, selection of beers but food is average, I visited there once and will not revisit again.
In our perpetual quest to locate and enjoy Belgian-style, wild fermented sour beer, (Lambic/Gose/Flanders Red Ale) we came to Burdock to see what we might find, and maybe stock up with bottles-to-go from the store.Staff are attentive, kind, and clever.Food is surprisingly well curated for a craft beer brewery bar/restaurant. Today's beef tartare, marinated in ale and served on rustic sourdough, was peppered with cashew, coriander, and shallots...delicious."Pear Berliner", a sour wheat beer, is a treat, but not as complex as the "DIPA"(double ipa), which wows mostly with its aromatics. The server mentioned that Flanders Red Ale may be a future project at Burdock. Hope so. Indie Ale House has just sold out of their "Ritual Madness" Flanders Red Ale batch. We are patiently waiting for the next good thing at Burdock.
Very tasty food, priced to match. Fine selection of beers on tap. The patio is very nice in summer, and they have their own adjacent music hall with very good sound where you can take in an act. Great if you're not on a tight budget..
Burdock has a lot going on; onsite brewery, patio, restaurant and a concert venue. Had a beer on the patio and caught a show in the small concert area where they also served their beer as well as guest microbreweries. It works. All the staff are friendly, a good selection of beer, most of it too 'hoppy' for my tastes but I found a few with the help of staff that hit the mark. Will be going back again.
This is a brewpub with an excellent choice of brews. There is a music venue next door that is part of the pub but it is not noticeable. The piped in music is tho. As for ordering, follow their advice 2-3 selections per person. For the beef tempanadas order 2 of those per 3 people as you only get 2 on the dish. All selections were very tasty.
