Kfc - Torfaen

I have visited around 4 KFC locations in my 23 years of living, and none of them compare to Pontypool! The staff was very friendly and served me quickly. Although the Colonel's chicken meal was a bit bland, I still enjoyed the rest of my food. The staff appeared to be working hard and do not deserve ungrateful people leaving negative reviews. The customer service was exceptional and the food was fantastic.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at KFC in Pontypool. The meal I received consisted of only 3 pieces of chicken and a meager portion of old, reheated fries. The chicken was decent but not fresh, and the fries looked and tasted like they were at least half a day old. Even the bag they came in was only half full. It wasn't until I had driven a considerable distance away that I realized how unsatisfactory the meal was. The portion size was so small that it felt like there was barely any food in the box. The mark-up on this food must be exorbitant, yet they are skimping on the quality and quantity of the fries. I won't be returning to KFC Pontypool after this disappointing experience.

I called the restaurant this evening for a takeout order and parked in the disabled bay due to difficulty walking. When I got out of my car, I was hit with a strong sewage smell and found myself standing in a large puddle of sewage. Make of that what you will.

Closet KFC to me so have been quite a bit. Food is nice but my god are they slow. Quickest option if quiet is to go through the drive through but if that's busy, you could well die of old age. Last trip was ridiculous however. Waited half hour inside without even getting served. When questioned was told didn't have enough staff. No apology or to even attempt to serve the long line of waiting customers, the 2 people out front were too busy putting together 6 or 7 delivery drivers orders. Plenty of staff hanging around doing nothing however. Gave up in end, probably won't return.

For the umpteenth time this year was told there is no coffee. When I asked why the person behind the counter said Coz ther isnt . Never again.
