Bread And Butter Baguette - Torbay

This restaurant is hands down my favorite spot for breakfast in Torquay. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I can't emphasize enough how amazing this place is.

It 's SO sad when new owners come in and change everything. For more than a decade everything was perfect and it was always exactly the same, excellent food every time. Queues of hungry workers were common. The banter was brilliant. It 's all changed now. The sausages and bacon are no longer freshly cooked, they are pulled from a container, luke warm. Because nothing is hot, the baps and bread are not warm either. I 've been 4 times since they took over to give them a chance but I won 't be going back. This 'was ' the best but is now mediocre at best.

Served by a really friendly guy, the chips were freshly cooked and really nice- my colleagues agreed. Only £1.30 for a large portion that I couldn't finish on my own.

Superb bacon egg sausage etc baps , rolls. Great little place in torre. Always friendly and excellent food. There is always the days newspapers to read if you don't fancy the banter with the owner, which I do to be honest! Little gem of a place if I am honest. Always my go to for a sandwich or breakfast roll. The best in Torquay!
