The Pavillion Cafe

This cafe is great. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff, who serve great value food in the best English cafe tradition. A very satisfying meal, can sit outside overlooking the cricket green if warm and sunny, long may they continue! Worth stopping by if you are hungry and passing Snodland.

As iv said Iv not been here before and today I decided to give it a try . I was just visiting family and we see that the cafe was open. The cafe was quite busy. We just got a table. The staff was quite nice and friendly. We received are food what was one large Breakfast. And one medium size breakfast. The food did take a bit of time to arrive but it was packed . The coffee was really not nice I did not like it at all the taste was cheep. My mother’s coffee was fine she said but she did get a different flavour. The food arrived and first off the plates where freezing cold what then made the food cold . The food was cheep tasting. The cold mushrooms was like old slugs not nice I could not eat them the chips was fine. The baked beans were just cheep bacon cooked to the end of its life . The toast was very nice and I would definitely recommend the toast! Very nice. My mother said her food was much the same as mine quit cold and was very cheep tasting . The place was clean and seems to be quite a Popular place. The tables are very old and the plates was too the Cutlery was something you’d probably find 25 years ago just cheap and nasty. As I said The staff was friendly and polite but the food just was no good . The place need some money put in to the business to bring it up to date a bit . Not much but it would be nice to have a hot plate with my food . And some real Tomato ketchup not one that taste like it just come out of a very cheep and old fake brand it was discussing taste I would definitely not waste my hard earned money here again . If the food was not so cheep Branded produce the food would probably be a lot better.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and was very impressed. The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning in the future.

It's a feast, large lincolnshire sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, hash brown, bubble and squeak, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, 2 toast, and a cup of Tea. beautifully cooked and served. Fantastic.

Have used many local cafes over time but the Pavillon Café has now become my favourite daytime eatery. Good food, good standard of cleanliness and good value, with a large variety of choice served by happy pleasant people. It’s a bit tucked away overlooking the cricket ground but that gives it its pleasant appeal and view. Indoor and outdoor seating, depending on the weather, is a plus with nearby parking as well. Recommended.
