フィードバックを提供するThis restaurant is definitely a family-run establishment, managed by a wonderful couple who truly care about the food they prepare. The menu features a diverse selection of Burmese and Thai dishes, all at very reasonable prices. The spice levels tend to be on the milder side, so if you prefer more flavor, be sure to specify that when you order. The atmosphere is casual, with both seating available and a significant amount of take-out service. Based on numerous reviews, the food is consistently excellent. Conveniently located on the popular #5 Metro Bus route, it's easily accessible from UB South Campus, Downtown, and various other areas nearby.
Ok, I'm going to be honest. This place is not beautiful, or fancy at all, not a place to take your significant other on a date... That out of the way, the food is for real. It's solo delicious, the pad Thai (beef) was amazing as well as the Samosas and Thai iced tea. Great flavors.
I was worried about trying this place due to the location.....omg I'm glad I stopped in for lunch....I liked it so much I returned a second time the following week. Both times was fantastic. I had green curry and then a potato curry with beef....yum the beef was amazing
This was really delicious. I got chicken pad thai, pork spring rolls, and thai iced boba tea.The pad Thai was amazing. Very fairly priced- I believe $10. I normally get pad Thai from west side bazaar, which is still the best place I've ever gotten the dish from, in any city I've visited (of course only in North America. I'm sure other countries would have really great options too ? . With the fire that happened there, though, I had to find another option. And Family Thai was perfect!! It was a HUGE portion and I will definitely be getting this again. The pork spring rolls were alright. I wasn't expecting the sauce to come in a packet but hey why not? I actually really loved the sauce. The rolls themselves were alright. I would get them again, just maybe not pork. The boba was alright. They didn't have it ready when I got there which I really appreciated. That way the ice didn't melt so that was nice! But the flavor of the tea was just alright. Probably wouldn't get again. I think it was $4.99And the service was great! Everyone was very friendly and I only waited a minute or two for my food upon arrival.Definitely would order again ??
A friend told about this restaurant so a friend of mine and me decided to give it a shot. When I pulled up to the place my friend was standing outside. The neighborhood looked pretty bad and the restaurant shabby from the outside. He wanted to go somewhere else so I looked up their Yelp reviews. After reading the positive reviews we decided to give them a shot. Dive's don't bother me if they have good food. I'd rather pay less for good food without the high prices charged for fancy decor. We started with fried egg rolls and fresh rolls with shrimp both were good. The peanut sauce was just average. I had the Pad Thai and he had the Burmese fried rice with shrimp. We both loved our food. Service was great although the lady didn't seem to speak much English. Prices were cheap for the quality of food.
