フィードバックを提供するOne of the best surprises we met. We even plan another trip here to come back and eat again! The octopus was from this world!! And the pig belly appetizer melted in the mouth! I had to take photos and share because it was worth every penny and more! We haven't ordered heavy dishes since we drove another 20 miles, but next time we'll get spoiled!
Had a wonderful dinner here. Started with the popovers that were occupied with Prosciutto. I had salmon for dinner. Two others at our party had the cod and one had the short ribs. My salmon was very tasteful and well cooked. All other meals have also been reported excellent. Our server was excellent, very friendly and had great suggestions. In any case, we look forward to warmer weather if we can enjoy their terrace.
We wanted to come here and our anniversary was the perfect opportunity. I can only say, wow! The atmosphere, menu, drinks and service were all amazing. We started with the cheddar popovers. They were hot, crisp and perfect. The accent of cheddar was perfect with the Crème fraiche butter. I've never met a popover I didn't like! Next, perhaps one of the best dishes I had in a very long time. Pressed watermelons, prosciutto, arugula, almonds and feta with a hint of chili oil. The melon was extra sweet from the compression process and it played perfectly with the saltiness of Prosciutto and feta. The chili oil was subtle and not too hot, but added another and surprising element to this updated classic dish. The sweet corn-Aranchini were also very good. The pistachios was a nice update in the pesto and the accompaniments made this a beautiful summer meal. It was pretty hard to get out after the previous court. The taste of the octopus was good and it was interesting to try it with the Romesco sauce and chickpeas. I thought the texture was slightly chewing and she threw me a little. Overall but good flavors. Next we had the grilled branzino. The fish was delicious and perfectly cooked. The eggplant was different and the salsa verde went perfectly with the dish. And for dessert we had the brown butter cake. It was rich and not too sweet. We had a great time! We can't wait to come back.
Wow. Best food and service I've had for years. The server (John) was very attentive, but not yet excessive... Perfect balance of personal, yet professional. Absolutely every dish... From the starters, (Brussels sprouts octopus) to the main meal (braised beef short rib Delmonico Ribeye) to the deserts were so good. I will be highly recommended and will be back. Well done!
I had an delightful dinner with my friends with excellent customer service. If you go, you must try the white cheddar popovers and steak! This is my go to place to get together with friends or family. A wonderful experience, indeed.
