Tardi's Italiano - Toms River

We all enjoyed the mussels and the marinara short rib ravioli appetizers. The ravioli was served in a delicious creamy mushroom sauce. For our entrees, we had the veal saltimbocca and two specials: shrimp and scallops over pasta with a delightful cream sauce, and cod with shrimp oreganata, accompanied by a spinach potato croquette. The portions of the specials were quite generous, leaving us with leftovers to take home. Sadly, we didn't have any room for dessert. I really appreciate that it's a BYOB restaurant!

The food was excellent! I ordered the red snapper, and both the fish and shrimp were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only downside was how loud it was; we could barely talk to our friends. I'm not sure how to balance that with having enthusiastic diners.

A hidden gem. Our entire family adores this place. The food and service are both excellent. We've visited frequently for date nights, Easter dinners, birthdays, and most recently, for the repast dinner following our father's passing. They did an exceptional job with both the food and service for our guests. I can't praise Tardi enough. Joe, thank you for the wonderful food and outstanding service during our father's repast. We were truly grateful for everything.

The staff was good, but very busy. Nice menu a very good choice to choose from. Very large shares,generated to say the least. Small space and thus a little loud, but very nice

Small place with a big heart. Authentic Italian food at its finest. I have lived in Tom's River for over 28 years and this was our first experience. All the good things I have heard were true and then some. Large dishes so bring your appetite but you will not be disappointed.
