フィードバックを提供するI have been frequenting this cozy café in the neighborhood for five years now. The menu has undergone many changes, and I miss the days when they only offered small breakfast plates. The prices are quite high for the quality of food they serve. While the French toast looked delicious on their digital menu, it did not meet my expectations in person. The coffee and latte are not the greatest. Additionally, my favorite breakfast burrito, which used to be filled with meat, is now a veggie option. Overall, I may not return to this café in the future.
I have been a patron of this restaurant for years. The food and coffee are good, but I was not impressed by the new owner. I spent over $20 on food and a coffee and decided to do some work while there. It seemed like I overstayed my welcome in the slightly busy restaurant because the owner approached me and suggested I order more or rent a space. I placed another order, paid, and left. While it's possible the owner was making a joke, I don't feel comfortable working while enjoying a coffee there. There are many other options that make me feel more welcome, so I will not be returning.
Cafe Marrese, located on Spring Cypress in Spring, Texas, is a unique establishment that offers a combination of a cafe, a restaurant, and a community meeting place. During my visit, I was impressed by the efficient service and the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu is small but offers a variety of delicious options such as waffles, French toast, egg cubes, and avocado toast. I ordered the avocado toast with pico de gallo, which was served quickly and tasted great, although the portion size was a bit small for the price. I also enjoyed a cup of black coffee with cream and sweeteners. The prices are not cheap, but the beautiful ambiance and quality of the food and coffee make it worth it. I would highly recommend Cafe Marrese for a quiet and pleasant breakfast or coffee outing.
Today for the first time. it didn't eat today, but the latte was great. the decor is beautiful, I will stop in the near future when I am hungry.
This place has potential, but needs training, leadership and quality control imo. My visit was before 11:00 on Friday and there were 3 tables occupied with seven people in total. I ordered the hearty omelet' and paid to add vegetables. They made it on the receipt, but not in the omelet. One more egg might help it to deserve it's title of hearty. They only cost you 15 cents each at the most and it's already $11.00 for the omlet. The pieces of bacon in the omelet were anywhere from floppy, soft and undercooked, to black and so over cooked that I had to remove it from my mouth. Of the six or seven staff members, which were all in their 20s, I saw no sign of leadership, nor dress code. I think two of them had an apron. Even though it was not busy, most of the staff appeared to be struggling or confused. Some were very relaxed. Owners, step up and make it work! This area is growing rapidly and you have a good start. I hope you can save it before it's too late.
