Ottawa Tavern - Toledo

We stumbled upon this place while heading to a bar and decided to give it a try. As soon as we walked in, we discovered that it also serves as a music venue! We arrived early enough to get in without having to pay a cover charge, and the atmosphere was great—complete with pinball machines. I can't wait to return when there's a live band playing; I can imagine it gets really busy. It’s a fantastic spot!

I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Thursday while my boyfriend was performing a show there, and I was pleasantly surprised. Traveling bands receive a complimentary meal, so my boyfriend and I decided to order while we waited, not expecting too much. He chose The Philly (a burger) and I went with the Tijuana Dog (a hotdog), and we were both really impressed with our meals. I got tater tots as a side and he opted for curly fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Philly was definitely my favorite. Our food arrived quickly, and there was plenty of bar seating as well as a cozy couch area for dining. The space was roomy and the sound carried well throughout the venue. The walls were adorned with vibrant murals, and there were pinball machines to play while waiting between sets. Even though it was just a Thursday, the place had a lively atmosphere with enough patrons to create a bustling vibe without feeling overcrowded. If you're in the area, this is a great spot to check out!

Absolutely loving the boozy brunch experience! Their brunch menu is a fantastic remedy for any hangover. I tried the Monte Cristo, which was made with French toast and came with delicious sweet potato fries. The management is great, and the fun atmosphere adds to the overall enjoyment.

Gotta love a place that has Chicken Chunks and dipping sauces! I was near the Art Museum and needed a quick place to get a bite with a friend. Ottawa Tavern fit the bill. Service was lovely, Chicken Chunks were little nuggets of deliciousness. Heard a band playing in the neighborhood. All in all, a fun place. 4 stars because interior was dark and drab. But food, service, and experience were awesome.

Yummy good, food yum yum yum. Hot staff, fun coasters, clean bathrooms. Delicious vegan and vegetarian options.
