Cafe Heck Christian Hubertus

Very centrally located guest house with free parking behind the house. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The room was recently renovated, has a comfortable size and comfortable bed. Breakfast was rich and fresh products were served. Wirt takes care of himself and takes time for his guests. felt very comfortable, recommended!

The staff and the owner are very friendly. Check-in was simple and smooth. The owner has directly explained everything that can be seen in the surroundings, etc. The Hoch Schwarzwald Card was included in the price. This card is the ticket to everything you can see in the area. You will get free entry to very many offers or in indoor swimming pools (including swimming paradise Black Forest a few hours free admission (if you want to stay longer, it costs only 2€ per hour. But if you need a car, you can rent the HSC for free for three hours. The Hoch Schwarzwald Card is absolutely worth it! The rooms are modern and very clean. I would even appreciate the newly renovated rooms. However, the boxspring beds were a bit too hard for me. The bathroom is also well furnished and clean. The only thing that bothered me was the shower ****. It is difficult to use this with slippery hands (but this is just a small thing. During breakfast I would like to have a little more choice for the price of 8.50€. It wasn't too little by the crowd. If you prefer a baker breakfast, there is also the possibility not to book breakfast. All in all I liked the stay very much and I also want to stay in the Cafe Heck.

Asked for an additional teaspoon to share a cake. The owner replied with one teaspoon one cake To be honest I was sure I misunderstood, so I asked again. Got the same answer. Cake wasn't good anyways.

We ordered a strawberry milkshake and the apple strudel. I wouldn't recommend either. It is over-priced and the very average strudel does not look or taste like traditional homemade German apple strudel. The milkshake has never seen a strawberry in its life. Clearly a tourist...trap. Quite disappointing.

Located at the corner of the central square of Titisee, will find it hard to miss with very attractive looking chair and table laid out. Warm and tastefully done interiors, with English food menu. Prompt and attentive service made our visit very enjoyable. They serve...excellent tap beer and fresh gourmet black forest cake. Fret not because of the language barrier you may face if you are not fluent in German. The waitress was kind enough to offer sample of beer they had so that we could make a choice to suit our palette. Indeed thoughtful. Three cheers to noteworthy customer service. They have neat and tidy washroom the basement aswell.
