I would rate this place a 2 out of 10 because there were a few decent aspects. I ordered chicken and waffles, and the waffles were tasty, as were the house potatoes. However, my chicken was boiled and had pink and red spots, which was quite embarrassing. My wife's bacon was overcooked and burnt. After the waitress took my chicken off the bill, our meals ended up costing us $48, and they were served separately. They don't even offer simple items like hot chocolate, and you have to get up for your coffee. The bathroom was also in poor condition, with rust spots in the sink and toilet, making us question the safety of the tap water. Consistency is key, and the positive reviews here don’t seem to match our experience that day.
Without a doubt, this is the best breakfast spot in the area! With fresh local ingredients, friendly service, an excellent menu, and a lovely atmosphere, it truly stands out. We ordered chicken waffles, pancakes, and an omelet for the three of us, and everything was absolutely delicious and fresh! Our little grandson loved his fluffy pancakes, which were huge. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great food and fantastic coffee!
