5 Forks Restaurant - Thunder Bay

Brooklynn was fantastic, but the rest of the staff seemed to be standing around and not doing anything. There was a bad steak next to us that our poor waitress had to deal with, and we couldn't find the manager to address the situation. When she finally came to our table, it was clear that she had some issues and we decided to leave without eating.

Menu constantly downgraded, no true gluten free options, last straw they turned us away for patio seating when our party was too small rather than break up a big empty table.

As someone from Toronto, I have high standards when it comes to dining out. This restaurant was conveniently located next to our hotel, making it easy for us to visit. The decor and service were satisfactory, and the menu offered a good variety of options. The food was among the best I've had in Thunder Bay. I would definitely consider returning if I am in the area again.

During our stay at the neighboring hotel, the clerk suggested we dine at the restaurant and mentioned we would receive a 20% discount, which we indeed did. The meal was delightful. We both ordered the Forks Burger and were thoroughly impressed, as burgers are a favorite among our family. The service was courteous, the food was served hot and was satisfying, and the Caesars were the best I had during my entire trip.

After a super long day of driving we were checked into a nearby hotel and were starving. The hotel recommended this restaurant. As soon as we walked up to the door it smelt amazing. We were greeted by a kind hostess who seated us very quickly. Within a few minutes our waitress took our drink order. They had picnic tables outside for customers to sit. The restaurant was very clean especially the bathrooms. The food was served in a timely manner. It was fresh and hot.
