Farm House Cafe - Thorsby

If you find yourself traveling along Highway 31, it's definitely worth stopping at the Farm House Cafe in Thorsby for a quick, freshly cooked lunch! For me, the location and the menu bring back memories of home. Now, if only Mim's Grocery Store could reclaim that space from yet another storage facility.

The food and service here are excellent. You won't find many places like this, so definitely go check it out!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Thorsby, Alabama. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly, and it's not just the staff – everyone here is welcoming. This place is a true asset to the community. Additionally, they have a store inside the restaurant that offers some great gift options!

We had the buffet of deep fried pork chop, squash casserole, Mac cheese, cabbage, mashed potatoes tea and coffee. There was other foods on the buffet you pick a meat and your sides.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but, the inside is really cute. Biscuits were fresh the white gravy had a good flavor. The hashbrowns were interesting. It was shredded thinly weren't bad. The grits were just grits but, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The bathroom was clean spacious. If I find myself in this neck of the woods again, I'd come back.
