The Carpenters Arms - Thirsk

We had a fantastic dining experience with beautiful staff and a lovely view of the abbey from the restaurant. We were fortunate to sit outside, which was delightful. The extensive menu offered a wide variety of choices, all with exceptional flavor, and the prices were very reasonable. This is definitely a place worth visiting and would love to return to.

I often come here since we have a car, and it's conveniently located right off the road. The 7 to 7 menu is fantastic and offers great value. The staff are very attentive, and the ambiance is delightful. Keep up the excellent work!

We were highly recommended this pub, and I’m glad to say we were not disappointed! It’s a beautiful establishment with a charming old-world atmosphere, yet it offers modern service, food, drinks, and ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, which was also a great value for money. The dishes were excellent, complemented by stunning views over North Yorkshire. The modern buildings outside are a nice touch, and it’s a bonus that the pub is dog-friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend enjoying a meal or stopping by here!

The staff is very welcoming, accommodation is beautiful and eating is excellent. the whole place has a friendly, quiet feeling. we are coming back! big space x

Always a favourite for lunch particularly when with family in a large group. Staff are always welcoming and the food is top class. Lots of space plus car parking. Well worth a visit if you have not been before.
