The Carlton Inn - Thirsk

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous with stunning views. I have dined here multiple times and have never been disappointed with a meal. Even though it's 17 miles away from my house, the drive is definitely worth it. There is ample parking available and a spacious outdoor area with a playground for children. This restaurant is perfect for visits year-round, but especially during the summer months to enjoy the beautiful views.

The service at this restaurant was excellent and the cask beer was delicious. The fish with light batter, steak pieces in the cake, and lasagna were all very tasty. The house-made chips were also a great addition to the meal. I highly recommend this place for a delicious dining experience.

The carlton restaurant is my favourite place to eat in the opposite and we are here with some beautiful restaurants to choose. but this place wins hands down. more amazing place. beautiful staff. excellent for everyone. eating is exceptional and always beautifully presented. I can't wait until my next visit! xxx

A damp chicken breast is beyond many chefs, but this has separated it two years and the sauce was also delicious! my son and I both need gluten-free food and that is clearly listed and plentiful. my son had the gf broken squid and really enjoyed it. we live in newcastle, so that the carlton inn is not local, but is worth a visit if we are in the opposite! thanks for a nice lunch!
