The Hungry Monkey Thirroul

I think our burgers was a bit underwhelming. This was our first time there and I must be honest and say I would not rush back or rave about it. My grilled chicken burger was just cooked. It could have been more grilled and caramelised. Bit bland overall. My husband thought his sliders were OK. He liked the pulled pork. But the other two were again unimpressive. The actual restaurant look was lovely but a bit too bright for a night time mood...a bit dimmer with the lights would have created more ambience...

It’s a very pleasant, clean and modern feeling place. Staff were great. What wasn’t so great: food didn’t arrive at same time, one dish about 10 mins before the others my steak wasn’t well cooked. Was v tough on the outside with a strange **** core looked like it might have been cooked from frozen

Great friendly service and the staff were fantastic. Food was delicious. Especially the loaded fries! 10/10. They were delicious and huge and the burgers were yummy too.

Surprisingly good dinner. Had salmon and steak, both beautifully cooked and presented. Would definitely return. The was only one choice for dessert more choice would be good.
