Zorba Tavern - Thessaloniki

The tavern in the street right next to Aristoteles, has a variety of Greek dishes and really affordable prices.

With all the tavern dining choices in Thessalaniki, we kept comimg back to this place. The menu is limited and food can arrive a little slower than most but it's the only place you can order the best grilled eggplant appetizer. Also highly recommended is their grilled dorado a fish smiliar to a red snapper. Grilled sardines and squid was good too. Nice and friendly staff with non touristy prices.

The service was perfect. The location is near aristoteles square (centre city). Two starters, one principal dish and two beers were 26€. Very satisfied! P.D: the most expensive thing like always is the beer (3'5€ each one).

Good food, but a little too touristy. Better places to eat for the money, but the service was good and the atmosphere of being in the square was nice. Definitely stick to their seafood if you do go.

The Caesar salad was so/so. The grilled octopus was quite good, but the french fries and the salat with it was not so good. The service is ok, but the place is a bit touristy.
