Singapore Mess AC - Theni

Located between Theni and Kambam in the south west of Tamil Nadu, this restaurant is a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The specialty here is meals served with a side of delicious fish fry, making it a must-try for seafood lovers.

This restaurant is not recommended for vegetarians as there are very limited options available and the quality is lacking even when options are provided.

The standout dishes at this restaurant are the Mutton Biryani, meals, Mutton Sukka, and Mutton Chops. They also have an air-conditioned dining hall. The Seeraga Samba Biryani comes with a mixture of mutton pieces and biryani for only ₹180. The Sukka dish is priced at just ₹90. This place is a must-visit if you happen to be in Uthamapalayam.

I went to Singapore mess because it would be very difficult to get a car parking in Theni town or in Cumbum.I was not disappointed as I got the best mutton biriyani which I have not found in most hotels in Tamilnadu.It was so good,that I even took a parcel home.Its not exactly the quiet serene hotel,but who gives as long as the food is tasty.

Probably the only good restaurant near Cumbum serving some amazing non veg mess type food. Lunch is just strictly meals or briyani with lot of sides dishes to choose from with the mutton kolas and the chukka the best. Great taste with some express service.
