Flying Biscuit - The Villages

The waffles were good but I ordered the eggs over MEDIUM and they were over hard and terrible so they did not follow the instructions on the eggs. Just for the future it would be nice if they would follow how you want the eggs done.

Visited this place to brunch during our trip to Tallahassee. Well maintained place with an extended menu including vegan and vegetarian options. Tried their Scrambled Tofu on the vegetarian menu and it's just ok, but their pirmento cheese fritters and fried tomatoes are a must try. Biscuits and Gravy with Grits is a winner. I had grottos in many places and the grottos you have here are heavenly. Portions are good and value for money.

The food is always decent, but this restaurant consistently takes a long time to prepare orders. During my last visit, it took nearly an hour to get a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit and the "Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes" from Drops of Jupiter. It felt like it took ages to receive my order. I wouldn't recommend this place if you need your food in a timely manner.

I had a decent breakfast here and appreciated that they ask how you like your eggs. However, they never seem to send the orange juice, so don't bother ordering it. The sausages weren’t cooked well; they looked fresh out of the package and didn’t resemble the picture at all. That said, everything else was quite good, and the grits were really nice!

This is my favorite spot for breakfast. The eggs are consistently fluffy and buttery, the bacon is always crispy, and the grits are wonderful!
