Ethica Restaurant Bar - The Hague

The main theme here is sustainability, a very sympathetic assumption. It's visible in the interior design , and surely in the menu. The olives from their own trees were wonderfully rich in taste, even though as big as a pea. All the starters were great. The codfish main dish had a perfectly cooked piece of fish, but the veggies underneath had a bit too much of a tang. The wines served with every dish were great! After the very tasteful main dish the paté of wild bore was a bit bland in taste. All in all we had a very good dinner, with prices overall a bit too high for the menu served. Great courses with an interesting combination of ingredients. Very nice and pleasant staff. A good location, central but also quiet. I definitely recommend it!

This was our first visit, and we will definitely go back: local ingredients imaginatively prepared, friendly staff, good atmosphere, central location on canal. The only minus of our reservation was not registered was slightly corrected.
