Found this place on Resy and decided to give it a go. It can be hard to trust star reviews sometimes because people have a hard time being honest and tend to indiscriminately give everything 4 or 5 stars. Triola's earns every star, though. It's not much to look at from the outside, but once you step inside, the ambience is so lovely: a combination of clean, minimalist black and white decor mixed with several family photos that keeps it upscale yet down to Earth. Even the little things about this place made me so happy: being offered sparkling water instead of just still (or worse yet, when I've asked for sparkling water at some places, they just give me tonic water. and also offered an espresso after my meal--both of which I happily took. I had the garlic bread, burrata salad, chicken Triola, and tiramisu. All were heavenly. The tiramisu, especially, was shockingly good. If I was on death row, I would absolutely order it as part of my last meal (honestly, I'd probably order everything I just mentioned .
My family and I had an amazing early dinner! The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We’ll def return when we want good Italian food!
It's absolutely phenomenal ! Everything from the moment you walk in til you walk out everything is made from scratch.
My wife and I are new to Houston. We were driving around the area and decided we would stop in to Triola’s Kitchen. The lunch we had was what we considered to be the best food we have had since moving to Houston. Chef Frank came out and greeted us and helped up decide what would be good for our personal taste. The food was 100/10, the service was absolutely exceptional and the atmosphere was awesome. Something about its smaller size makes the entire dining experience very personal, a far cry from most if not all “upscale” restaurants. Thank you, Chef Frank and the entire staff at Triola’s.
