Wow, a real gem of a drive in, Big Jim's serves up some fantastic burgers for hungry travelers. On all of my road trips I try to stop at the places that aren't franchises, since the food is almost always better in places like this, and Big Jim's is at the top of my list. A little pricey, but well worth the extra money for food that actually makes you feel good. Oh, and their real hard ice cream shakes are wonderful. Vegetarian options: I didn't try any, but they have veggie burger options on the menu, and some really good cod burgers for people just avoiding meat. Kid-friendliness: It's a burger place with loads of ice cream options. Yes, it's kid-friendly.
