China Star - The Colony

Extremely disappointed with my take out order. The hot and sour soup was bland, the sweet and sour chicken that is supposed to be crunchy was soggy and luke warm, same with the egg rolls we ordered. The pork fried rice was yellow like Mexican rice andover cooked. Took a chance because I live close, never again.

We ordered hot and sour soap which is normally has to tase of sour and spicy but ,taste of water with salt and all of our fried was soggy . It was sweet and sour chicken. Rice was Mexican rice but smell was so bad. I am not recommended this place at all

I absolutely love Chinese food! However, since moving to Texas, I’ve struggled to find truly excellent Chinese cuisine like what I enjoyed in California and on the East Coast. Unfortunately, China Star isn't the best option for good Chinese food. They seem unwilling to accommodate customer requests, and their dishes lack the flavor that you find in quality Chinese restaurants. Instead, I highly recommend checking out Wasabi Wok or First Chinese BBQ. Both places offer authentic and delicious Chinese food and are more willing to make adjustments for their customers.

The food was terrible. It tasted like old oil because they reuse it for everything. We've given this place several chances, but we won’t be coming back again.

My girlfriend and I frequently order takeout from here, and it's some of the best Chinese food I've ever tasted. The portions are generous, so there’s plenty of food to enjoy. Everything is always warm and ready when we pick it up. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of Chinese cuisine!
