Bread Zeppelin - The Colony

A unique twist on the typical sandwich and salad spot. The ingredients are fresh and prepared right before your eyes. Every sandwich we've tried has been outstanding. The bread pudding is more akin to a spice cake, but it’s still a delightful dessert. Definitely worth a visit!

Be sure to try the Nola Zeppelin! The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. I walked in and was seated with my Salad in a roll in under 5 minutes.

Delicious salads The team seemed pretty helpful to us newbies. One non-positive , I was not very impressed with the bread pudding, I like my bread pudding warm and this came straight from the fridge...but the fresh bread was awesome...just wish they had a little butter for it. We will be back.

Neat concept. Food was good but customer service was lacking. It's a new concept (salad in hollowed out bread). Yet, as a first timer nothing was really explained. We had to ask several clarifying questions and the teens behind the counter didn't care about much. We had to ask for the kids meal after about 10 minutes. And we had to ask for cups after we ordered drinks. Could be better. Probably will never dine in again.

It is different which is nice the customer service was good. I got the steak salad and it was ok minus the strange peppers and almost bad avocado. The problem is the menu is too complex and strange to most. My son liked his Zeppelin which is a salad in bread. I would modify my order if I went back. That is the challenge with trying to do salads is the variety is way high and careful what you put on it because some toppings can cost $2-$3 extra on a $12 salad it is a bit much. I appreciate trying something new.
