Beef wellington was on the menu and from the scala. every penny worth. this restaurant is simply fantastic, nothing is too much for all happy and friendly staff. we will return soon thanks to all and compliments to all involved

One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long while, and being seated next to the fire after a very long, rainy walk was a bonus! Will be returning and telling friends to visit!

Always enjoy meals at The Thatch, A busy Friday night meant we had to wait a while to order initial drinks once all guests had arrived.

We had a lovely meal with great and friendly service. Starters all lovely cheese souffle and prawns excellent. Main course of pork also lovely. Chocolate mousse far too sweet and cloying so really not nice at all but overall a lovely meal thank you.

Delicious food, attentive staff, very welcoming. Lovely fire in the front room. Building has lots of character.
