Boyd's Cajun Grill Express - Texas City

Restaurant portion was a little one window outdoor walk up and order. A couple outside picnic tables for outdoor dining. Had fried fish- cornmeal breaded- decent. Authentic crab Patty, gulf tasting sizable shrimp. Crawfish 5lb servings-light on seasoning. All in all I would return

First time at Boyd’s and at first I was shocked because of the looks from the outside but my goodness the food was delicious. The spicy boiled shrimp and crawfish balls a delicious paired with the jalapeño ranch. I had started out small with my order since I wasn’t to confident but once the hubby at the first order we placed we then got seconds of the same and then ordered some to go for my kiddos. Highly recommend this place.

Used to be very good now I honestly can say they have fell off alot they not cleaning these crawfish good at all they’re selling crawfish to people without taking the crawfish that was already dead before boiling out which can make people sick. Do better

I'm sorry to change my 5 star review from two years ago to a 2.I visited today from Louisiana, I arrived at 11 when they opened and ordered 10 lbs of crawfish and other items. It literally took 1 hour and 10 minutes the crawfish to be ready. Please do better.The crawfish was good as usual and the price was right.

If you want the freshest seafood, go to salt water restaurants such as Boyd's. Boyd's sits on the base of the Texas City Dike, next to Boyd's live bait and fishing gear. I don't claim to know for sure but with live shrimp, crawfish, and crabs right off the boats, I don't see how seafood can be any fresher. They have a surprisingly deep menu for such a small restaurant. Food is first rate and delicious. Worth a drive. 4 stars because there is no inside seating.
