Natraj Romsey - Test Valley

Had a delicious fresh karai here, served by the very attentive Mohammed. An excellent meal out with friends, I'll be back.

I am Indian this is not Indian. Butter chicken was sweet and tasted overly of coconut. Chicken was dry and hard. Mattar Paneer was mashed paneer and an insult to the dish. Naans were dry as if they had been pre made and lacking butter. Prawns were rubbery. Daal portion only half filled the foil container. We only got a takeaway from here because Dawat in Abbotswood was closed and although not terrible this was a poor excuse for an Indian. Will not order from here ever again.

Meal for 3 adults and 1 child as a takeaway. Mostly successful but disappointing in some respects the chicken was a bit tough, the pilau rice was dull (in colour and flavour), in the sag paneer the cheese had all melted (it tasted eggy), flavours otherwise were good. Quick service. Would eat there again but will also consider the alternatives.

We eat in Indian restaurants a lot and this was one of the best. I had the Achari murgh which is my go to dish and this was the bast one I've had. My husband loved his Madras too. Mohammed was very welcoming and the service was great. We were the first ones there at 5.00 and by the time we left at 7.30 it was full up! Prices were very reasonable too. Highly recommend

Really good Indian. Really nice waitress very friendly. Becoming a regular fav for us lately would recommend if local or in the area
