Regency Cottage - Tendring

Lovely food, very quick to arrive at the table and a very pleasant dining experience. The staff were happy to tailor the dishes to our vegan diet which was super helpful, so we'll definitely be back!

The food was absolutely wonderful. Came here with my extended family. Everybody loved the food. Great quality and taste. Can't recommend it enough.

Love a curry. Cab driver recommend this place while we were in Clacton. Small place but managed to grab a table for 2 at short notice. Food was good. Service was good. Just didn't get offered a free nightcap as per my local place.

I was impressed with the cleanliness upon entering and being seated . And despite it being a chilly April night, it was warm in the restaurant . The menu is extensive but I chose bengal chilli chicken , it was described as a home style dish . What a good choice strong flavours and a chilli kick too. . I was stunned with its taste . The accompanying pilauo rice also had those little complex elements to it. This was an Indian meal at its best . Additional little things impress me like proper linen napkins and table clothes , my beer glass and cutlery were squeaky clean and the loos were reassuringly clean

Placed online order as it stated is was open till half 2 to my receipt says order placed 12.58pm no contact no food money been taking hope to get a response when it opens later...... 6:15pm the food came not happy with service but the food was 10/10 I cannot lie.
