Makai Beach Cafe - Tendring

One of the little gems in Clacton, Near Holland on sea, Great food and good sizes well worth the money, Great staff very helpful that go out off the way to help, the do not serve Beer, but this is great as you have a great time and every ones happy, I love their Burgers, Real good USA style: and for a price that is not out of this world, I must say sometime it takes a little while to cook but its due to the fact many people come back time after time as they they like the taste I think, And the old style service, but some times after a long walk from Clacton its just nice to have a Cup of tea, they do this as well. They have a sweet little Dog there too , Great with Kids my Kids love to take Photos with the Dog I do not know if the Cafe reads reviews But if You do thank you so much, As My family and I love coming to see you and send some time on the Beach, We will see in June.

I stopped here one morning while walking my dog and the staff made myself and lady feel like royalty. I enjoyed a coffee and a friendly chat with a guy called Kevin while lady enjoyed the attention of the other staff. I’ll definitely be going back again as I was impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of them.

Perfect place to sit for a drink and enjoy the summer sun. The fish and chips are amazing and the curry sauce is the best I’ve tasted.

Been going here over a year and every visit is great, last Sunday was Dr Ska and we Had a brilliant time. Fair prices and very friendly staff. Recommend the Makai bar highly.
