Peachy Canyon Winery Tasting Room

Carol was our host, and she was undoubtedly the best wine host I’ve ever encountered. In all my years of wine journeying, I’ve never been treated to such an invitation—being taken out to see the vineyards, learning about how each hillside, valley, and slope contributes to the drastically different flavor profiles. We even tasted wine grapes just before the harvest! Carol shared the fascinating history of the family and the vines, along with insights into the various growing styles and how each contributes to such dynamic flavors. I was already a huge fan of Peachy Canyon Winery due to their extensive Zinfandel selection—my personal favorite. However, I was completely blown away by the exceptional service, the overall experience, the atmosphere, and the sheer wow factor! I couldn't resist joining the wine club, and you should too! Now I have a great reason to return every few months and fully enjoy the winery. We discovered this winery a few years ago while driving from San Luis Obispo to the Bay Area. Since then, it has consistently provided us with a wonderful experience and has become one of our favorite wineries to visit and buy from. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, and the wines are rich in flavor. During our most recent visit for a tasting, we were thrilled to receive a brief tour of the nearby vineyard. Carol did an excellent job explaining the unique methods that Peachy Canyon employs to produce their beautiful wines. I came away with a greater understanding of what goes into each bottle and am eagerly looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!

I truly enjoy Peachy Canyon Winery. They offer excellent everyday wines, especially their Zinfandels. Their Zins are very approachable, featuring a fruit-forward taste, wonderful aromas, and soft, subtle tannins. Overall, it's a fantastic winery to visit for affordable wines.

The wine here is fantastic! I didn't realize I liked Zinfandels until I tried them at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive.

I had a wonderful wine tasting experience! It was relaxed and unrushed, which I really appreciated. August did an excellent job explaining the various wines on the tasting list. The outdoor seating is delightful, clean, and nicely shaded by the gorgeous large trees on the property. It made for a very enjoyable late Friday afternoon with my best friend and my husband. Thank you, Peachy Canyon! By the way, the Petite Sirah and Port are simply the best!
