Vincitorio's - Tempe

They celebrate the 19th birthday of my sohnes in a long-time favorite restaurant. we have fed here for 15 years and it is the best Italian food in whole arizona. They are really treated like family and I highly recommend to support this amazing little business.

We celebrated my Sunday. they honored our seat request and our celebration. our waiter was fantastic and was very attentive that was our first visit and we will be back. the service and eating were excellent. this is an old Italian restaurant of school and they do it very well

The kitchen was slower than usual, but eating and the server were great as usual. it’s never good when a server tells them twice “It’s going to be right out”.

This is a top rated local restaurant and we went with high hopes. We found it to be a popular, casual family place with great vibe and decorations. Despite the large number of diners, we could hear each other well and did not feel crowded. The problem was the actual food, which was a big disappointment. My wife had capelli, and the sauce was very tasty, but the pasta itself was starchy and clumpy. The fried calamari was a bit chewy, not tender. And the panna cotta dessert was simply strawberry sauce poured over (tasteless) custard, with a nice presentation on the plate but very little taste other than simple sugar sweetness. My caesar salad was okay but the dressing seemed to be simply ranch. The best thing they served was actually the garlic bread brought to the table automatically nice and crunchy, not too garlickly, not too much butter.
