On our Sunday morning walk we decided to try Sweetest Season Artisan Eatery. I ordered The Rut, which is eggs, bacon, Parmesan potatoes 2 thick pieces of toast with raspberry jam. The eggs were perfectly cooked, bacon was the exact right amount of crispy without being crumbly. The potatoes where small neatly cut into thin slices, but still ball like. The raspberry jam was amazing. The husband had the Classic, which was a Belgian waffle with egg, cheddar candied bacon. He enjoyed it as well. They have an amazing looking sweets display up front. We will definitely be back.
Sweetest Season Artisan Eatery was the sweetest brunch experience! I’m sure you saw what I did there. Located conveniently on the Southeast corner of McClintock and Guadalupe, Sweetest Season Artisan Eatery (SSAE) was on all accounts amazing. Shame on me for not giving the title its proper significance. SSAE really lives up to its Artisan name. Each dish was elegantly crafted and plated. It really added to my foodie’s delight. I had the steak and eggs dish along with a “loaded” Belgian waffle with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. So delicious! My Queen greatly enjoyed the “loaded” waffle as well. I can proudly say that I ate all of my dishes and half of hers. I was being a fatty for this brunch experience. We will certainly be back soon; they have very loyal brunch guest in us! ProTip: they have a small bar (only 4 seats available) with no TV. However, my queen and I got the amazing opportunity to be served and entertained by the owners (husband and wife combo). They really showed their love and passion for great food and extraordinary service.
This new lil breakfast spot is a stealth banger. The food is absolutely satisfying, the staff outstanding, service on point. I swear the music played is straight from my personal playlists. I make a weekly pilgrimage to this amazing brunch hideout. I recommend the hangry and a carafe of mimosa. Your welcome.
I set up an late breakfast meeting here on a Friday. At the last minute I had to take my son with me. The place looks very modern At first glance when walking in. The kitchen is exposed so you can see people cooking and the smell of waffles fills the air. This is a great think because my son loves waffles and pancakes. I ordered the waffles with whipped cream and fruit to share with the boy and James, my friend ordered the same. We were one of a few folks that were at the restaurant so our food came pretty quickly. It was delicious, the amount was enough to share the plate, my son and I each had a waffle. He took majority of the whipped cream. This place does a great job with service. I don’t think it’s set up that well for kids though. My son took the pen that was meant for the little maze and games they gave him and wrote all over the new tables. Then he was pulling apart the table decor and using it to hit things. While I was stopping him, he’s 3, and I felt bad that he was going crazy on nice things. The staff too the decor at one point lol. This place was a great experience and the food was good. Sorry about your table! :
