Pokiluv - Tempe

The shrimp didn?t taste fresh had a lot of brown spots. Very dry and unappetizing poke bowl. Ended up throwing much of it out.

Pokiluv is a really cool new Tempe restaurant in the office center just across the bridge over the Salt River on the northside. It has a nice upscale vibe, cool furniture(sort of a retro Jetsons homage), a nice beer wine bar with a great sushi bowl buffet.I loaded my custom bowl with ahi marinated tuna, salmon, crab, corn, avocado, brown rice with wasabi royu sauce. Unlike manypoke places my bowl had a generous amount of proteins for under $15 is a great deal for any quality poke bowl place(and I'vebeen to quite a few in the California meccas of LA San Diego). Service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable from GM Andy-5stars. My shrimp tempura on the side was hot delicious. Highly recommended best Poke Bowl I've had in Tempe AZ in 2022.

I visited the other day, and I encountered a rude employee. When I asked if I could use the restroom, she denied my request, even though there was no sign indicating that it was not open to the public. As a driver delivering food for your company, it's frustrating not to have access to bathroom facilities when we need them. It felt like she judged my appearance and decided I wasn't worthy of using the restroom. It's disappointing, especially since COVID is long over. I believe that restaurants should allow delivery drivers to use the facilities, particularly when we’re helping to generate revenue for the business.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The fish in both my poke bowl and my boyfriend's roll lacked flavor, were worryingly warm, and did not taste as fresh as I had expected. The avocado at the counter was already turning brown by the time we arrived, and my soda was flat when we paid for our meal. Due to concerns about food safety, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. On a positive note, the servers were friendly.

Absolutely delicious! I was a bit hesitant to try a new poke place, but I ended up loving it! They offer so many unique options, and the portions are generous—definitely more than what most places serve!
