フィードバックを提供するI was surprised at how busy IHOP was. Though Saturday afternoon is prime time for breakfast, so I shouldn 't have been. The first time I visited was years ago when the diner first opened in this location. It appears others have discovered it as well. I was seated right away. And my server came right away for my drink order. She took the rest of my order since I knew what I wanted. My food was served quickly. I included photos of my order. The bacon was greasy and softer than I like, but was certainly edible. The rest of the food was quite good. I would suggest ordering crisper versions of the bacon and hash Browns, but those are my preferences. The big meal included more sausage and meats than I thought. Only order if you are really hungry. The pancakes were fluffy and sweet. Oddly they ask if you need condiments and that syrup is considered a condiment. When I suggested no condiments she clarified, did you need syrup? certainly I thought. I assumed syrup would be coming since I ordered pancakes, but you may need to ask. Refills are free since we still live in the USA. I forgot to order tea, so I can 't report on that. There is Wi-Fi. Speed test says 50 megs but real life usage was oddly sporadic. Not amazing speed. But good enough for most if you check email etc. No video watching speed. I turned it off because of that. After tax $18.14. Inflation is real. If you don 't need ham, links and sausages I 'd order cheaper fare. They offer happy hour between 3 and 9 with lower prices. I 'll check that out next time. Over all perfectly fine breakfast, attentive service. The servers wear clean uniforms allowing you to find them. Plenty of staff. Quite busy diner, but the staff seems well trained and customer focused. 20 bucks for breakfasts that might cost you 5 bucks per person at home is high, but expect these kind of prices now. I also ordered high meat content. Mostly I wanted toast and hash Browns with my eggs. The eggs are smallish, but that seems like standard fa
There was only one waitress, and she was running her tail off. Food was good, and there was a LOT of it. I waited longer than expected, but I'm sure that was related to their being short staffed.
Great service : four stars just because it seemed like the kitchen and wait staff were a little overtaxed. Took a long time to get my food. But they were very pleasant about it!
I'm disappointed to say that this is not the first time I've had a negative experience at IHOP. I usually order the Swedish crepes with a side of coffee, but this time I was let down. While I appreciate the unique toppings of lingonberry sauce and lingonberry butter on the crepes, I was disappointed to find that there was no regular butter offered as a substitute. Additionally, I received three cups of maple syrup, which was excessive. The biggest letdown, however, was the taste of the coffee, which was reminiscent of cardboard. I ended up throwing most of it away. IHOP, I know you have the potential to do better.
The service at this restaurant was disappointing. It took longer than expected to receive our coffee and we did not have napkins or utensils to stir our creamer with. Even after our food was delivered, we still did not have utensils available. When we asked for some, we were given plastic forks and knives, even though the restaurant uses ceramic cups and plates. The table next to us had metal utensils, but we were given plastic ones. There was a small spill on our table that the waitress ignored and did not clean up or provide us with anything to clean it up. The ketchup on the table was empty and two tables nearby were left uncleared with plates and food leftovers spilling over. It seemed like there were no busboys working on a Sunday morning. Despite the good quality of the food, the lack of basic services at this IHOP next to a college campus was disappointing. The restaurant should prioritize hiring enough staff to ensure a smooth operation and provide better service to customers.
