Garcia's Mexican - Tempe

We have eaten at this place as it is open and we have always loved eating here. in recent years we take out due to covid and also the health of my wife. tonight I was surprised when my wife suggested we eat here. the last couple of times we ordered this to eat was not on the ground. We hate to complain so that we can only get what we don't eat and get something out of the freezer. tonight. the last time we eat here or in garcias. my food was terrible. my hunch was so hard that I barely cut it. my wife opened the cash box to discover that no one has pointed to their desires. she ordered a burrito and asked for additional enchilada sauce. she said, please do nothing else in the container, just buy a lot of sauce on the burrito. she also ordered another article and about ten minutes later the friendly person who took her order called my wife to say that the second article was not available. my wife told her not to worry about the burrito being good. she ordered double rice and remembered again the person who commanded her that she didn't want anything with her burrito. when my wife opened her eating, a burrito was covered with cheese. a tiny amount of very thinner sauce and her rice. I put her on that she didn't want her food on a teller. the rice was a double order and whatever sauce there was on her burrito that was eating on it. I don't want to say that my picky dinner had no dinner thanks to garcias. I offered to go back, but she said she lost her appetit. not sure if they stopped giving their famous beandip, but they have given us the worst bag of chips ever. they were terrible and hard as possible. undercooked or over cooked they could not chew. the dinge change, the chefs come and go. and so we will. times are hard and we understand that, but if they are not a simple question of their long-term customers. or any for this matter. we will take our business elsewhere.

Morgan. m is the best server I've ever had. I was just here a few times, but I started to ask her as my server when I come! she is very faint and always gives great food recommendations! I always have a great experience when she's my server.

Garcia is always one of our favorite hunts. friendly and efficient service. their meals are always very satisfying.

Salsa doesn't have much bite, but it is tasty. Gotta say the complimentary chips, salsa, and bean dip were really quite good. The green chili burro was bland-bland. Hard shell taco was tasty; as was the Mexican pizza. As an aside, that's not on the menu but if you ask they'll make it. Drinks were cold and fresh. Tad bit pricey; nothing too expensive, but eh. Garcia's works decently. About average; nothing special. If you like spicy food; make sure to ask for a side of jalapenos.
