Doc Eddy's - Tempe

The food and atmosphere were quite good. However, our waitress, Alyssa, seemed a bit distracted by the three small groups in our area. We would have appreciated a cleaner and more attentive section. We’ll see you next time! We ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with onion rings and prime roast sliders with fries. If it were just about the food, I’d give them 4.5 to 5 stars, but I wish our server had put more effort into her job. We also tried the special drinks, which were disappointing and felt watered down for the price of $6 to $8. It took a lot of convincing for me to bring my wife to the “new” Doc Eddie’s, and we won’t be returning. While the many TVs are a nice touch, there needs to be better service and improved special drinks.

Chris/Kris was outstanding! The service was excellent. The restaurant is spacious, allowing for plenty of room to move around. I believe I saw daily specials on the board. The lighting was great, and the menu was clear. However, the kitchen had some issues. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and specifically ordered a salad without parmesan cheese, making sure to mention my allergy. Unfortunately, the kitchen instead added cheddar cheese to my salad. I will definitely return, but that oversight is definitely not cool.

I visited this past Saturday with some friends while we were out bar hopping. The drinks were excellent, and our server was wonderful. The only disappointment was the wings; I wish they had been as good as the drinks. We all ordered wings, thinking they’d be a safe choice, but I wouldn’t recommend them. I might just return for drinks in the future. The place was clean, and the restrooms were well-maintained, which was a plus.

Reborn after a fire, this Tempe sports bar has been a great place for wings and sports since the 1990s. All new, with plenty of TVs and tables and the same great good. Stay for pitchers, darts and shuffleboard.

I visit Doc Eddy 's weekly... usually by myself. I generally sit at the bar for lunch and a couple drinks. I 've met so many nice regulars over the years, and enjoy the friendly, clean and safe environment. Whether with friends or flying solo, I 'vealways felt welcome and comfortable here.
