Bottcherkeller - Telgte

Bottcherkeller is an excellent restaurant to go for dinner. And the food is GREAT. I can recomment Sauerbraten, Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. To the mean you can drink a Dornfelder or Spateburgunder. Red wine.

At the market place of Telgte, a small ancient vaulted cellar accomodates this famous restaurant which is renowned for its wines and dishes. Sitting in old casks and stalls the best is to order tarte flambée or an iron frying pan full of Westfalian "Bratkartoffeln".As a famous wine bar you should order one of that great wines - no beer! During summer a few tables are also available outside in front of this historic facade, which will be illuminated at night. Reservation is recommended at weekend.

We had the premiere at Fratelli this evening and are totally thrilled

We were passing through and spontaneously ended up in the restaurant. At the entrance we were confused at first, where do we go now? But we were brave and were rewarded. Great atmosphere, very tasty food. We'd love to come back.

Sensational restaurant. Went there today for Christmas dinner with the family. We had everything well under control. Antipasti was great, sole was gigantic, fillet steak and pasta too. The main course took a while, but it was understandable at Christmas with a full hut. Very young, capable, friendly staff. The atmosphere deserves a 6th star. Highly recommended.
