フィードバックを提供するI was pleased to see that they offer a separate vegan/vegetarian menu at this restaurant. The food was delicious and I found the business menu option for 69 shekels to be a good value. However, the vegan salad was quite simple and basic.
The staff was very helpful in informing us which items were vegan, with 50% of the menu options being suitable. They also offered sorbet for dessert. We tried the vegetable curry and it was delicious.
We were very excited to try Indira, a restaurant with excellent reviews on both HappyCow and Google. We ordered $75 worth of takeout to sample a variety of dishes, including appetizers and curries. The samosas and chutney were decent, although lacking in spice. However, the curries and rice dishes were disappointingly bland, with an overwhelming amount of salt and no other flavors present. There was no trace of cumin, coriander, ginger, or garlic, and the dishes lacked any curry taste. We were left wondering if they forgot to season our food that night, or if this is the norm for their cooking. Additionally, we found the meal to be overpriced for the quality we received.
Most of the menu is carnivore, but there is plenty of vegan options. Check out the Vegetable Samosa and don't hesitate to try Onion Bahjia.
Excellent food, varied and tasty, delicate seasoning. The staff is friendly and there are many vegan dishes. The only minus is the price; 49 NIS for a medium sized main course , which does not include rice (extra 23 NIS)
