Shelly Belle's - Tazewell

What a lovely and welcoming restaurant! The food is tasty, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, especially on the patio by the river. They truly excel at making you feel right at home. While they're still fine-tuning a few things and I wish the staff and management would wear masks, they are extremely kind and attentive. This is always our top choice when we're in the area. I highly recommend a visit, but I'd advise exercising caution during the pandemic since the staff doesn't wear masks.

My family of six recently went on vacation in the nearby Cumberland Gap area. After a short drive through the 25E tunnel past Harrogate, we arrived at Shelly Belle's. We had the pleasure of sitting on the porch with a lovely view of the Powell River. The tables were spacious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Our kids absolutely loved their meals, especially the kid's burger, which was impressively large! I opted for the Shelly Belle Burger, while my wife tried the fried green tomatoes paired with a horseradish sauce. Our oldest enjoyed some buffalo wings. The food was not only delicious but also plentiful! Despite being in a rural area, the place was bustling, and rightly so. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend checking out Shelly Belle's!

What a fantastic dining experience! The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. The scenery is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Be sure to try the Ole Smoky Moonshine Flights – you won't want to miss them!
