To be honest, both their appearance and flavor resembled meat and potatoes, which was quite odd. On the other hand, the chicken ramen stir fry was decent, though it lacked strong flavors, even with the house sauce.
This review is about their Spring Rolls. According to the menu, they should contain minced meat, carrots, and cabbage. However, the one I received was filled with minced meat and POTATOES! Seriously, who puts potatoes in Spring Rolls? Apparently, Pho House in Taylor does! I'm shocked that no one has complained about this before. Taylor, Michigan, you deserve better! I have photos that I will post once I find the link. I'm currently out of town and this was my second attempt at trying this place. My first experience was a disaster. I ordered Wonton Noodle Soup, and they used spaghetti noodles instead of egg noodles without informing me beforehand. Plus, the Cantonese dish also had potatoes in it. I gave this restaurant another shot, but I won’t be returning. The Pho was decent at least.
This family-owned restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the quality of the food is impressive. The dishes are well-seasoned, and for about $15 on average, the portions are generous. You'll easily be able to enjoy multiple meals here for the price you would pay at other places that leave you feeling unsatisfied. The teas, particularly the Thai and pineapple varieties, are fantastic, and the pho, fried rice, ramen stir-fry, and butter chicken each have their own unique appeal. I highly recommend experimenting with different options on the menu, as they truly excel in all aspects.
I ordered the phone? Maybe a good thing because if I went to the order? ve has changed my mind?.However I wanted to order the chicken butter wings, but they were from them, so I ordered the butter chicken strips instead? Now I'm a chicken chick and that wasn't a dang chicken? whatever it was good and tender! The fried rice was good, but the rice was white rice that didn't seem to be roasted? the ramen noodles on the other plate were bordering the cold? It's all right, but I doubt if I ever go back. I don't mind paying for what I put in my body, but that would be $40.00? was better spent in Benihana? the workers were very nice!!!
The food was ok, wasn't the best pho I've had. I'm not sure if my issue lies with how the menu is laid out on doordash, but it doesn't specify what has pork in it. I got the fresh rolls which has pork. So I had to open the roll up to get the pork out and that was a total mess. I also ordered the pho house special which is steak, shank and meatballs. Unbeknownst to me the shank was pork and if it wasn't pork then that was the lightest beef I've ever seen and I didn't want to risk it. So I barely had a meal because the menu is not descriptive enough for those with dietary restrictions. I'm not sure if I would give them a second chance because the bean sprouts looked like they weren't cleaned so I had to go rinse them and the broth barely had flavor.
