The Lodge - Tawas City

Sat there for awhile. Finally got a menu. We placed our order, including drinks. Then we were forgotten. My wife flagged down the waiter and asked for our drinks. He said he was new and he was busy (not so busy). Then he got out his pad and asked what we wanted. We had already ordered. I told him we were out. Not only was the service non existent, but the young man had zero personality. He probably should have called in sick that day. To give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe his dog died this morning. What a joke.

Great prices. Dinner with three appetizers was about 13$ per person, and breakfast is about 7$ per person. Food quality is great. Seating is limited, so I suggest eating a bit earlier than normal. Pizza is good for dinner, however it's a little bit too garlic-y for my taste. I wouldn't recommend any steak for breakfast, but their French Toast is good. Great staff. Great restaurant overall.

Breakfast was Excellent, can’t believe the great prices, too. We all ordered something different and will be back soon! We’ve had lunch dinner which ate also good. Nice family setting and serve cocktails too.

June 19 2024 went into resturant never acknowledge we were told to sit down 8 customers came thru the door served we were never acknowledge talk to manager she didn’t seem to care we walked out very poor service!

Worst place ever. Wait forever for burnt waffles. Stay away!
