What a view, what an excellent lunch. Halfway through our hike from Como to Turno we came across this Baita. So glad we did. It was a Sunny Sunday in May so when we got there it was busy, but what a fun group of people. Families, dogs, hikers, day walkers... Young couples. Seating is outside on the patio with the amazing view OR inside. Lots of smiles, lots of laughter... But what about the food? you ask. The menu is ever-changing (actually hand written). Stinco was offered the day we were there served with potatoes or polenta (11euro) and It did not disappoint. Exactly what was needed on kilometre 9 of the 18km hike. 500ml of white wine to go with it was 5euro.

We were at the Baita Bolletto/Fabrizio yesterday for lunch. It was a sort of coupon we won in a game and we really enjoyed and appreciate it! Very good food: costine (ribs) cooked in beer and salsiccia (sausages) with onions were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was familiar and relaxing, personnel kind and friendly. We actually ordered different dishes than those contemplated in the coupon and we were expecting to pay for the 'extras '. It was really a nice surprise that at the end the owner didn 't want any additional money! Very kind! We will definitely return with all our kids.

We had lunch yesterday at the refuge boletto fabrizio, great food and great price. do not underestimate the courtesy of all the staf. really a great experience, surely repeat

Unfortunately unclear and honest about prices. In the menu the cheeses are indicated as cheeses to 3-6 euros, mixed slices to 7 euros, a plate of cheese and sliced mixed to 10 euros. We asked for some cheese to get something with a glass of wine. There were brought 4 pieces of cheese and a sandwich. Because of the cheeses we expected from 3 to 6 euros (as from the menu , while instead we were charged 10 euros, although without slices... So we asked for explanations and we were answered that a single piece of cheese comes from 3 to 6 euros while more pieces of cheese 10 euros. In short, absolutely unclear the offer. And anyway, for what was brought to us, high prices, considering that they are always mountain huts. .
