O'keefe's Irish Pub And - Tavares

O’KEEFES is a large home town pub with authentic Irish dishes and a wide selection of beers and of course Guinness!

We checked reviews and chose O'Keefe's. Good for us! The restaurant itself has a view of the water and if you sit outside on the patio it really is a very pretty view. Inside, you find yourself in an Irish Pub. It has a bar area and a dining area, so yes you can bring the family. Lighting was dim but it was very inviting. It does have a handicap entrance and parking close by but once inside it's a little tight for wheelchairs. The food. We ordered mostly bar food. My husband got the French onion soup and it was excellent. He also ordered chicken wings and they were good. My grandson order the BLT and it also was very good. I'm a vegetarian and so I had to modify a sandwich which was cheese, lettuce and tomato on toast. They got it right. We also ordered a side of onion rings which were excellent. Our waiter was pleasant, very efficient and quick. We had a very nice meal in a nice atmosphere. We will bother to go there again.

Nice Guinness... the temperature was just right. Bartender is friendly. The Shepard's Pie is good but not fabulous. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. Nice friendly place to relax.

I ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms for an appetizer and the Seafood Combo for the main course. Both were perfectly prepared and our server was wonderful. Two of us shared the meal and we still took home a large portion. This is our second visit to O'Keefe's and we will definitely be going back more often.

Love o'keeffes irish pub. Great Irish car bombs and a good selection of beers. Food is also great and their bangers and mash kill it as well as corned beef and cabbage. They're the hub of St Patrick's day activities in Tavares
