Ruth's Chris Steak House - Tarrytown

We have dined at this restaurant many times over the years, and while we usually have a good experience, it hasn't always been consistent. Luckily, our dinner yesterday was delightful from start to finish. When we made our reservation, they asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. Since it was my wife's birthday last Tuesday and mine was last Friday, we decided to combine the celebrations for our dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find our table decorated with birthday decorations, which was a lovely touch—definitely a nice new feature for Ruth's Chris. The service throughout the evening was outstanding, and the food was cooked to perfection. The staff really went above and beyond to earn a five-star rating from us, especially when they surprised me with a special dessert that accommodated my dietary restrictions. Overall, it was a fantastic way to celebrate our birthdays, and we were thrilled to have celebrated here.

I’ve never had a bad meal here and once again the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The wait staff was amazing!!

I absolutely loved the food—crispy calamari, Caesar salad, petite filet, garlic potatoes, and the famous creamy spinach. Paired with a delightful house Cabernet, it made for a fantastic birthday celebration. The service and ambiance are definitely reasons for a return visit!

My fiancée had a reservation for my 40th birthday last night, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was the most delicious I’ve ever had! When we arrived, they had sprinkled charming birthday confetti on our table, which made the occasion even more special. The staff was amazing—thank you all for making this milestone birthday so memorable and enjoyable! We can’t wait to return this spring!

This was my first experience at Ruth Chris and it won't be my last. My husband and I went to my birthday and when we arrived, they wished me Happy Birthday with name and the table was decorated with Happy Birthday confetti. Mike our server came by, wished me a happy birthday with name again and then introduced us and explained how the food was prepared and asked if there were any food allergies or nutritional problems. Our food came out boiled to perfection and tasted amazing. At the end, when dinner they came with a birthday dessert for me again with my name on it. I must say that was a great experience and the whole atmosphere was comfortable and the staff was amazing. We can't wait to go back.
