La Perla Poblanita - Tarrytown

The service was friendly and the staff were nice. However, I was hoping to find good tacos at a reasonable price, but that wasn't the case. I was excited to see they offered Mamey shakes, but unfortunately, they were terrible. I guess that's what I get for having high expectations. Just so you know, Mamey is one of my favorite flavors. I tried this place once on a recommendation, but I don't think I'll be returning.

I have visited several times for lunch, trying something new each time. Every meal has been quick and delicious. I've had a steak burrito, a chorizo burrito bowl, and some tacos, all of which were great. I highly recommend this restaurant! There's metered parking available out front for $1.25 per hour. They offer a variety of cold beverages but don't serve any beer.

This tiny Mexican restaurant may be small, but it serves fantastic food. I ordered a Mexican burger, which came with avocado slices and tasted incredible. It was accompanied by wonderfully crunchy fries, making for a hearty and filling meal. At $14, I felt it was worth the price. The chips and salsa provided at the table were also excellent and helped curb our hunger as we waited. The chips were clearly fresh and had that satisfying crunch that you crave. Our server was very friendly and attentive, which was understandable given the restaurant's size; I would have been concerned if she weren't present in such a tight space. There’s a sink conveniently located near the tables for handwashing, and there’s also a public single restroom at the back behind the kitchen. Overall, this is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. It was my first visit to Tarrytown, but I would definitely return to try something else from their menu.
