El Cafe Del Centre - Tarragona

We chanced on it as we were passing by and were so glad we did. We had the menu del dia, for 17.95€. The 2 ladies who served us were lovely and very efficient. There were about 5 or 6 1st courses, 10 or so second courses and about 5 desert choices with a drink. I had the risotto with chicken and mushrooms to start and hubby had the bolognese, both were obviously home cooked with fresh ingredients and very tasty. I then had a whole, oven baked sea bream with parsley and garlic served with potatoes cooked in olive oil, it was fantastic and my husband had veal escalope again with the same potatoes. Desert for him was essentially a slice of thick creme patisserie and I had tiramisu, again, home made. The menu was in catalan but with a little help from Google translate we managed! We added a couple of cortado's to finish. I couldn't fault them at all, we had an amazing meal, the best we had for the price. Well done guys!

We had an excellent menu with ao housemade gazpacho. Staf was friendly and quick. Good price quality!

Found this place by chance and stopped for dinner. It was really busy and staff were literally running around to keep up. They did a great job. Food was simple and tasty pizza, pasta and a salad. All lovely and very reasonably priced.

Busy place with average service, but we got what was expected, so no problem. Prices are ok, so we can recommend this place.

Had dinner here once. Two paellas marisco and arroz negro, both were good. Each dish was priced 11.50 EUR.
