Lido Il Delfino - TAORMINA

We enjoyed dinner 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The service was quick and kind, food was fresh and very good. Much better than a restaurant nearby that was twice more expensive. The only thing they need to work on is the decor a bit gloomy inside.

We have been coming to Delfinos ever since we first visited Taormina. The view is just gorgeous right on the beach with the view of the cove. The food is always good as well. Staff as always lovely and friendly. Pasta dishes we always choose are the vongole, pistachio and prawns and the tomato spaghetti. All good and tasty. Also the Parma ham and melon! Yum! Definitely worth a visit, even if you just get a glass of wine and sit with the beautiful view.

Very good food, set in the middle of the beach. Catches a refreshing breeze on a hot day, good service, inexpensive. Between the four of us, managed eight dishes so had a good selection. All dishes were very good, well presented, and tasted lovely. A most delicious surprise was the macaroni with prawn and pistachio, also the sardine alla bagaglio was excellent, so both highly recommended. Wine from €25. Overall very good, relaxing, casual, and great food.

Stay away average food, 50 euros for two sun beds, and worst of all I was scammed 75 euro by the restaurant who tapped my card and said it had declined and then tapped the same transaction so I was charged for our lunch plus an additional 75 Euro.

Nice location but the food and service is shocking. I asked for seabream and they served me a swordfish steak. The staff argued with me insisting it was a fillet of sea bream. What a load of rubbish. Over priced and passing off one species of fish for another. The wife's risotto was not great either pale and insipid. I won't be going back.
